CreateResume is a digital resume and job-search service operated by Suryadeep Pal. By creating an account, using the service, or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the policies linked from this site.

You must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you use CreateResume for another person or an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

CreateResume provides tools for drafting, editing, storing, previewing, and exporting resumes, cover letters, and related job-search materials. Some features are free and others require a one-time purchase or AI credits.

Features, templates, file formats, usage limits, and prices available to you are shown in the service or on the pricing page. CreateResume may improve or change the service over time, provided that changes do not remove a digital benefit you have already paid for without a remedy required by applicable law.

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your sign-in method secure, and activity carried out through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account or payment has been used without permission.

Paid entitlements and credits are associated with the account used at checkout. They may not be resold, transferred, pooled, or exchanged for cash unless CreateResume expressly permits it or applicable law requires otherwise.

CreateResume does not currently sell subscriptions. Job Hunt Pro is a one-time digital entitlement, and AI credit packs are one-time top-ups. The checkout page shows the applicable currency, price, and taxes, if any, before you pay.

• AI credits currently remain available until they are used or reversed as part of a refund, dispute, or payment correction.
• Credits are consumed according to the cost displayed for the relevant AI action and cannot be converted to cash.

A payment being initiated or authorised does not by itself deliver a paid benefit. CreateResume grants the entitlement or credits only after its server verifies that Razorpay reports the payment as captured. See the Shipping & Delivery Policy for digital-delivery details.

If CreateResume introduces expiry for future credit grants, the applicable period will be shown before purchase or grant. A new expiry rule will not be applied retroactively unless required by law or expressly accepted by you.

Payments are processed by Razorpay and its payment partners. Their terms may also apply to the payment method you choose. CreateResume does not receive or store your complete card details.

Because purchases are one-time and delivered digitally, there is no recurring plan to cancel. You may stop using the service at any time. Refund eligibility, request deadlines, and processing information are described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Mandatory consumer rights under applicable law always prevail over a conflicting policy term.

When you choose an AI feature, the relevant request, resume draft, and conversation context are sent to CreateResume's configured AI provider so that it can generate a response. This transfer occurs only when you use an AI feature.

AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, generic, or unsuitable for a particular role. You must review and verify suggestions before applying, publishing, or sending them. Do not rely on AI output as legal, financial, immigration, employment, or other professional advice, and do not submit content you are not permitted to share.

You retain ownership of the resumes, cover letters, account information, and other content you provide. You give CreateResume a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the service or comply with law.

You are responsible for ensuring that your content is accurate and lawful and does not violate another person's privacy, confidentiality, copyright, trademark, or other rights.

You must not use CreateResume to:

• break the law, deceive others, impersonate someone, or submit fabricated credentials as genuine;
• upload malicious code, probe security, bypass usage or payment controls, or interfere with the service;
• scrape, resell, reverse engineer, or automate access beyond interfaces CreateResume provides, except where law prohibits such a restriction; or
• infringe intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights.

CreateResume may restrict or suspend access reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, protect users, respond to legal requirements, or investigate a material breach.

The service, software, product design, branding, templates, and original site content are owned by or licensed to CreateResume. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for your personal or internal job-search purposes. They do not transfer ownership of CreateResume technology or branding to you.

CreateResume aims to keep the service available but does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, provider outages, security events, and circumstances outside reasonable control may interrupt access.

You may stop using the service at any time. CreateResume may suspend or terminate an account for a material or repeated breach, unlawful use, security risk, or non-payment, using reasonable notice where practical. Any handling of unused paid benefits following termination remains subject to applicable law and the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

To the extent permitted by law, CreateResume is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. CreateResume does not promise that a document will pass every applicant-tracking system, produce interviews, secure employment, or meet a particular employer's requirements.

To the extent permitted by law, Suryadeep Pal is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for lost opportunities, profits, data, or goodwill. For a claim relating to a paid service, aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid CreateResume for the product giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the event. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without overriding mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Courts with lawful jurisdiction in India may hear a dispute, unless mandatory law permits or requires another forum.

Before filing a formal claim, please contact CreateResume with a clear description of the issue so both sides can try to resolve it in good faith. This does not prevent either side from seeking urgent relief or using a statutory consumer process.

CreateResume may update these terms to reflect product, legal, or security changes. The effective date will be updated when a revised version is published. If a change materially affects an existing paid entitlement, reasonable notice will be provided where required. Continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the revised terms, subject to applicable law.
