This policy applies to the CreateResume website, application, and support interactions. CreateResume is operated by Suryadeep Pal, who is responsible for the personal information described here.

Third-party services, such as Razorpay or an external website you visit through a link, process information under their own privacy terms.

Depending on how you use CreateResume, the service may handle:

• account and contact information, such as your name, email address, sign-in identifiers, and support messages;
• resume, cover letter, application-tracking, and other job-search content you enter or upload;
• AI requests, conversation history, generated responses, proposed edits, and the resume draft relevant to a request;
• purchase and entitlement records, including product, amount, currency, Razorpay order or payment references, payment status, and refund status; and
• basic device, network, request, and security information generated when you connect to the service, such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, and error records.

CreateResume uses information where needed to:

• provide accounts, document editing, storage, exports, application tracking, and AI-assisted features;
• process purchases, verify captured payments, grant entitlements and credits, prevent duplicate fulfilment, and handle refunds;
• authenticate users, secure the service, detect misuse, troubleshoot errors, and maintain reliability;
• answer support requests and send essential account, transaction, policy, or security communications; and
• meet legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, and dispute obligations.

These activities rely on performing the service you request, legitimate interests in operating and securing the product, compliance with law, or consent where the law requires it.

Razorpay handles the payment details you enter at checkout. CreateResume does not receive or store your complete card number, card security code, or online-banking credentials.

CreateResume receives transaction references and status information needed to reconcile the order, verify a server-confirmed captured payment, deliver the digital benefit, provide an order history, prevent fraud, and process eligible refunds. Razorpay and the selected bank or payment method may independently process information under their own terms.

CreateResume sends an AI request, the relevant resume draft, and conversation context to its configured AI provider only when you choose to use an AI feature. This information is used to generate the requested response or proposed edit.

Avoid placing sensitive information in a prompt unless it is needed for the requested result. Review generated content before applying or sharing it. The AI provider processes the submitted information on CreateResume's behalf subject to its service and data-protection arrangements.

CreateResume does not sell your personal information. It may share the minimum information needed with:

• hosting, database, authentication, email, monitoring, and support providers that help operate the service;
• Razorpay, banks, payment networks, and fraud-prevention providers involved in a purchase or refund;
• the configured AI provider when you invoke an AI feature;
• professional advisers and authorities when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce terms, protect rights, or investigate fraud or security incidents; and
• a successor involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or transfer of the service, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.

CreateResume keeps account and document information while your account is active and for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service. Transaction, fraud-prevention, tax, legal, backup, and dispute records may be retained for longer where required or permitted by law.

Retention can also depend on the nature of the record and whether an issue remains unresolved. CreateResume uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. Keep your sign-in method secure and contact support if you suspect unauthorised access.

Service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, CreateResume relies on contractual protections or other lawful transfer mechanisms. By using the service, you understand that information may be processed where CreateResume and its providers operate, subject to applicable privacy law.

You may review and update information available in your account. You can also contact CreateResume to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, or information about processing, where the applicable law grants that right.

A request may require reasonable identity verification. CreateResume may retain information it must keep by law or for security, fraud prevention, payment reconciliation, or legal claims. You may also complain to the privacy or consumer authority available in your jurisdiction.

CreateResume is not directed to children who cannot lawfully consent to use an online service in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child provided personal information without valid permission, contact CreateResume so the matter can be reviewed.

This policy may be updated when the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date will be revised when a new version is published, and additional notice will be provided where required for a material change.
