Leopold Fairweather-Adeyemi

Executed 60+ design-verification test protocols for a Class II infusion pump, logging results in the DHF and flagging 7 nonconformances. Designed and 3D-printed a SolidWorks fixture for occlusion-pressure testing, cutting setup time from 25 to 8 minutes per run. Wrote Python scripts to parse pump flow-rate logs and auto-generate test reports, saving the V&V team ~6 hours a week. Supported a dFMEA review with R&D and Quality, drafting 40 risk line items and proposed mitigations.

Ran uniaxial tensile tests on 120+ hydrogel scaffold samples using an Instron 5944 and analysed stress-strain data in MATLAB. Co-authored a poster at the BMES Annual Meeting on crosslink density vs. scaffold stiffness. Maintained lab SOPs and trained 4 new undergraduates on equipment safety and data handling.

Performed preventive maintenance and electrical safety checks on 300+ patient monitors, ventilators, and infusion pumps. Tracked work orders in the CMMS and helped lift on-time PM completion from 88% to 96%.
