See 8–10 patients a day for prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and new-patient exams in a four-operatory general practice. Complete full periodontal charting and document bleeding, pocket depths, and recession for about 40 patients a week. Place sealants on roughly 120 molars a year and keep infection-control logs, sterilization, and operatory turnover within protocol. Raised overdue recall conversion from 61% to 78% by confirming hygiene visits and coaching patients on home care.

Assisted the dentist with scaling and root planing for about 15 periodontal cases a month and documented post-op instructions. Applied fluoride varnish for roughly 200 pediatric and adult patients a year and taught brushing and flossing in age-appropriate language. Exposed and mounted digital bitewings and periapicals with a retake rate under 4%, following ALARA and office imaging protocol. Supported a family practice seeing 30+ hygiene patients a day by prepping operatories and updating medical histories in Eaglesoft.

Provided chairside support for hygiene and restorative visits on an RDH intern track, including suction, retraction, and instrument transfer. Ran instrument sterilization cycles, spore tests, and operatory wipe-downs to clinic infection-control standards. Helped deliver no-cost community outreach cleanings for about 180 uninsured adults a year at weekend clinics. Took vital signs, updated health histories, and prepared trays so supervising hygienists could stay on schedule.

Completed clinical rotations in general and community clinics. Dean’s List, 2016–2017. Current CPR/BLS (American Heart Association) and Oregon local anesthesia permit for dental hygienists.
