Maintained electrical systems for a USDA-inspected 3-shift frozen-foods plant: 4,000A switchgear, 9 ammonia-refrigeration compressor starters, and 70+ conveyor and packaging drives. Replaced 46 legacy across-the-line starters with soft starters and VFDs, cutting compressor-room energy use 17% (~$118K/year) and earning a $52K National Grid rebate. Troubleshot PLC, HMI, and photo-eye faults on 6 packaging lines, raising line OEE from 71% to 83% over 18 months. Rewired washdown areas to NEMA 4X stainless enclosures and sealed fittings, eliminating 90% of moisture-related ground-fault trips.

Installed 800A–2,000A service upgrades for 11 mill-building conversions, passing every inspection first time. Cut rework 25% by flagging electrical/mechanical print conflicts before rough-in. Installed fire alarm, emergency lighting, and ATS gear to NEC 2017 and NFPA 72.
